It depends on the provider. Snap says applying won't affect your FICO score, though another consumer-report score may be affected. Koalafi says its check runs through alternative bureaus and doesn't touch your FICO score, though it may change your score at those bureaus, and that it reports lease payments to TransUnion. American First Finance may run soft and hard credit checks. Read each provider's disclosure before you submit.
