Other causes include compressor failure (the pump that pressurizes refrigerant), a blocked condenser (the radiator-like component in front of your car), or a failed expansion valve. We test each component systematically so you only pay for what is actually broken.

But if the drain gets clogged or the evaporator stays damp, mold colonizes the surface and every time you turn on the fan, you breathe it in. The first fix is replacing the cabin air filter — a dirty filter traps moisture and feeds mold. If that does not solve it, we treat the evaporator with an antimicrobial spray and clear the condensate drain. Regular cabin filter changes prevent this from coming back.

Next we test the compressor clutch coil itself and verify power and ground signals. On newer vehicles, the AC system is controlled by the body control module, so we also check for diagnostic codes that might disable the system.
